Beginning April 1, 2025, the Lake Tomahawk Pavilion will reopen for reservations. Please contact the Recreation Department at 828-669-2052 or recreation@tobm.org for availability and pricing information. All other facility reservations are suspended due to continued repair work from storm damage.
Programs
Enjoy the warmer days in the great outdoors this spring with Black Mountain Recreation & Parks! This year's Spring Ascension Series will consist of hikes, litter sweeps around town, trail workdays, and an astronomy walk!
For this trail workday, we are excited to partner with Christmount to help them restore some of their trails that were damaged by Hurricane Helene. No previous trail building experience is required. All trail tools will be provided. A complimentary lunch will also be provided after this program.
Registered participants will check-in at the Lakeview Center (401 Laurel Cir. Dr.) prior to this event to go over all safety protocols. Once everyone is checked-in, we will carpool to Christmount and begin our workday.
