Fresh Milky Oats: Medicine for Body and Land

When harvested at the peak of its season, fresh milky oat tops help alleviate nervous system exhaustion, adrenal fatigue, anxiety, despair, insomnia, and repetitive thought patterns, increase focus, boost mood, and more. Milky oats also serve as a cover crop to help heal flooded lands. Participants will learn harvesting and processing the oat tops and oat straw all the way through how to prepare a tincture. Participants will also learn how milky oats can be planted to help heal soil post-flooding.
Bring a pint sized jar and prepare to buy your own alcohol for tincturing after the class. Please RSVP by scanning the QR code. NOTE: $20 payment is due at the time of the event. DO NOT PAY VIA THIS PLATFORM. We will have a card reader for credit/debit cards at the event. Cash or check preferred.
