Join us this March-May for our annual Spring Ascension Series! This year's series will consist of hikes, litter sweeps, trail workdays, and a fly fishing workshop! All programs are free, but registration is required.
For our first hike in the series, we'll be exploring the Three Lakes Loop in the Dupont State Recreational Forest! As the name suggests, this hike will go along the banks of three different lakes within Dupont- Lake Dense, Lake Alford, and Lake Julia. Altogether, this hike will be approximately four miles long and is rated as moderate in difficulty.
Registered participants must check-in at the Lake Tomahawk Picnic Pavilion (401 Laurel Cir. Drive- near the tennis courts) prior to this program to go over additional details for the hike. Once everyone is checked-in and all safety protocols have been covered, participants can either carpool or ride in the parks and rec van.
