Join Black Mountain Recreation & Parks (BMRP) for their 2026 Arm's Length Adventures Series! What began in 2020 as a way to safely get outside and enjoy the great outdoors, has continued to grow over the past six years into a staple of our outdoor programming. This year's series will feature hikes on new trails, cleanups around town, a fly fishing workshop, and a mushroom hike with Hendersonville Parks & Rec!

For this program, we are excited to be partnering with NC Wildlife to offer a free Fly Fishing Workshop at Lake Tomahawk. This beginner workshop will focus on the equipment needed for fly fishing, along with a few casting techniques. All rods and equipment will be supplied.
