Programs
Our Fall Peaks Hiking Series is back! Join us this fall as we follow the peak fall colors based on elevation in our area! This year's Fall Peaks Hiking Series will start in the high elevations where the leaves change first, then finish in the lower elevations where leaves change later in the season.
Our final hike of the series will take place along the Bob Benner Trail just south of Morganton, NC! (elevation 1,500 ft.) This hike is approximately 2.6 miles long and is rated as moderate in difficulty. We're excited to be partnering with the Foothills Conservancy of NC on this hike so that we can learn more about our natural surroundings!
All registered participants will check-in at the tennis courts at Lake Tomahawk (401 Laurel Cir. Dr.) at 9:00 a.m. on the morning of this program. Once everyone is checked-in, we will go over directions and safety measures. Participants are welcome to ride in the BMRP van or drive separately to the trailhead location.
